If you look after a family member or friend who needs support due to age, illness or disability, Bolton Carers Support can help. We provide a Carers Helpline, a free newsletter,  benefits advice, information and advice appointments, courses and workshops on a range of topics and also offer short breaks. Bolton Carers Support is a registered charity with over 30 years experience of supporting people who are caring for family members and friends and we work to a strict code of confidentiality.

 

Carers Helpline 01204 363056 – Call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

From 9 am to 5 pm weekdays, you can call 01204 363056 with any caring query or just to talk to someone in confidence about your caring role. You may have questions about: aids and equipment; benefits; breaks; carers rights; employment; health services; help at home; support groups or other topics. You may just want someone to talk to. No matter what your query or concern, we will listen and help you find relevant services and support.

 At all other times (evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays) you can call if you have an urgent issue or emergency. Perhaps the person you look after has: had a fall at home; become unwell or agitated; or a situation has arisen that can’t wait until the next working day. So, if an emergency arises and you need some support or advice on the best course of action, simply give us a call.
