Occupational Therapy - Paediatric
All year
We provide an occupational therapy service to children from birth to 18 years of age. This includes assessment, advice, therapeutic programmes and specialist equipment. We work together with children, parents, carers and other professionals in order to facilitate the child or young person to reach their developmental potential and functional independence. Intervention is provided in a variety of settings including clinics, home/respite care and within education settings.

Referral details |
If you are concerned about any aspect of your child’s physical needs e.g. a loss of function or reduction in independence you may want to see a member of the Occupational Therapy team. To be referred to this service you will need to discuss your concerns with another professional who sees your child and they may make a referral to Occupational Therapy if appropriate using Early Help Guidance. Professionals that can offer support to make the referral include family doctor, midwife, health visitor, school nurse, school or nursery teachers or any other health professional. |
