Audiology - Paediatric

Our specialised service supports children aged 0 to 19 (if in full-time education) with hearing and balance difficulties and works closely with a number of other services.  We provide hearing aid assessments, management of hearing loss and hearing aids, and instigate medical investigations to determine possible causes of hearing loss and balance problems.

Referral details If you are concerned about any aspect of your child or young person's hearing or balance you may want to see an audiologist or a member of their team. To be referred to this service you need to contact another professional who know your child/young person to discuss your concerns and they will make a referral if appropriate using the Early Help Guidance. Professionals that can offer support to make the referral include Family Doctor, Midwife, Health Visitor, School Nurse, School or Nursery staff or any other professional.
